Leon was released for Vocaloid1 on January 15, 2004. According to their notes, it took 40 hours to record Leon. He was retired in 2006, but was on sale again in 2008. He was permanently retired on January 1, 2014 along with the other V1 Engloids, Lola and Miriam. His voice provider is unknown to this day.
